AMAZING BEACHES FROM AROUND THE WORLD

Because I simply love the beach, I have compiled a list of
amazingly beautiful beaches from around the world .... enjoy!!!

Meads Bay, Anguilla

Meads Bay is one of the islands longest beaches with plenty of good
hotels and restaurants along the way. A must is Blanchards Beach
Shack with amazing lobster rolls and incredible Mango Coladas...
you won't be able to have just one!!

Bottom Bay, Barbados

One of the most beautiful, undiscovered beach in Barbados. Bottom Bay
is enclosed by high coral cliffs making this beach a paradise.
Turtles and whales can be spotted sometimes from the cliffs.

Byron Bay, Australia

This beach has a Bohemian, flower child, strawberry fields kind of feel.
Where surfers wait for the perfect wave and there are plenty of pubs,
cafe's and musicians hanging around. The yearly Bluesfest attracts
thousands of people as well as top name musicians.

La Concha, Spain

This beautiful beach has it's own promenade with great cafe's and Tapas,
some of the best food this side of the northern coast.

Capo Sant'Andrea, Elba, Italy

At this inlet, the water is so clear you can see the seabeds even at the
deepest sections and chestnut trees sweep right down to the coastline.
The beaches are framed by granite blocks for a finishing touch.

Trunk Bay, St. John, US Virgin Islands

One of the few beaches that I know where you have to pay a fee to get
in, but boy is it worth it, especially for snorkelers because there are
plaques embedded into the sea floor with information about what you're
looking at.

Placenia Beach, Belize

Not only is this an amazing beach - there are adventures in every turn!
With jungle rivers, Mayan Ruins and fantastic wildlife, this beach has various
purposes!! Monkeys, Iguanas and a chance to kayak in a lagoon with
manatees.

Natadola Beach, Fiji

The amazing Fiji islands!! Home of the Poseidon Underwater Resort and the clearest,
bluest waters ... where you can go horseback riding on the beach at sunset....picture
perfect beauty!!

Zakynthos Cove, Smuggler's Bay or Shipwrecks Cove - this famous beach in Greece has
a few names....

This beach is gorgeous and it's the remains of an old ship reportedly used to smuggle
cigarettes.  You need to get a taxi-boat from Porto Vromi to get here.

Grand Anse, Grenada

Grenada's best family friendly beach is big enough to never be crowded, with amazing
white sands, turquoise waters and soft ocean breezes...it truly completes paradise.

Hanalei Bay, Hawaii USA

With mountains in the back and ocean in front Hanalei Bay on Kauai is  surfers dream,
with a huge reef on the right hand side of the bay it's perfect for snorkelers too.

Boulder Beach, Cape Town

Boulder Beach is home to over 3,000 penguins which are often found waddling in and out
of the sea. You can view them from the boardwalk close to Foxy Beach.

The Baths, Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands

One of my favorite beaches with huge boulders as long as 40 ft gives away the islands
volcanic origins. There is a small fee as it is part of the BVI's National Park, but it's well
worth it. A rope and step trails leads through the boulders to Devil's Bay.

Tulum, Mexico

Another one of my favorite beaches is at Tulum. Surrounded by ancient Maya Ruins,
the area is home to a Mayan archeological ruin that teeters on the edge of a cliff.
Plenty of amazing restaurants nearby and mega resorts to accommodate any taste.

Grande Anse Beach, La Digue Island, Seychelles

Last but certainly not least is this amazing beach has incredible waves, secluded with plenty
of shady spots. The waves can get boisterous at times and one must be careful.

There are so many other beautiful and amazing beaches that I could not possibly add them all
as much as I want to. The world is full of amazing places and beautiful scenery.... I would love
to show you some of them..... stick around..... :)

HOW TO SAVE TIME IN THE DISNEY PARKS

I was a teenage tour guide at Walt Disney World and I will share with you some time saving tricks .....

1. Purchase your tickets in advance.
If you belong to a travel club like AAA you will save on your ticket price as well
as saving time when you arrive at the park and the lines for ticket purchase
are long. You can also purchase them online directly at Walt Disney World,
I have included the link for your convenience. If you are a Floridian ... don't forget
to ask for their Florida Residents Specials...

2. Get to the park EARLY....
This is very important and time saving, especially if you stay in a resort within
the kingdom - you get an extra hour in the morning, before they let everyone
else in :) ... be in line with the tickets already in hand. Go to the most popular
rides first before the lines get long.
Use FASTPASS whenever possible to make an appointment to get in the
shorter line. Ride during parades if you do not mind missing as many people
     stop to see the parades.

3. Schedule your vacation to Disney World during their low seasons (if possible)...
The best times to visit the parks are as follows:
     A. January to mid February - immediately after the new year (also the best rates)
     B. Autumn - from end of August to mid December (excluding Thanksgiving weekend)
     C. After Easter to mid June is a great time to visit.
During their lower seasons, take advantage of their "Free Dining Plans" and all
     the incredible Disney Deals.
The holidays are the worst time to visit, the lines are extremely long, the prices are
sky high and hotels are booked months (sometimes years) in advance.
For those of us that love the Christmas holidays.... the Disney Parks are decorated
the entire month of December....if you visit before the holiday rush, you will experience
all the lights and the festivities if the amazing holiday season!!

4. If everyone is going right.....go left :)
